Here's a podcast for this week - More tips on creating a Syllabus. Sometimes we forget the obvious - the right day / year / class location, etc. Also, we forget to concentrate on the 'dos' and not the 'don'ts', which puts our syllabus in a much more negative tone. I also like to put the institutional policies in my own words so students get a flavor of what my class might be like.
